He wants out for a reputed £400m, so if he's overvaluing it that to me suggests that he's happy enough to stay in situ other than for an offer too good to turn down.
Imagine this was a one of his shops and the manager came to him and said "Mike, the light is broke in the toilet, one of the windows is cracked, and there was a dirty protest in the changing rooms, can we have some money to repair it?" And Ashley says "why would I give you money to repair it? Sign a contract so I can retain your services for a further three years, then I might think about improving things"
"But Mike, it's your shop, I'm just trying to run it well for you, and leave it so it makes money for you long after I'm gone"

It's all irrelevant man.

He's not going to spend, end of story.

If he doesn't really want to sell he won't, you've been protesting for years and he just laughs in your face.

He owns your club lock, stock & 2 smoking phone boxes, moaning on here won't alter that one bit.

Its just a set of fans wanting change, whats the harm in that? Whats difficult to understand? Just cos you and the other mag hating crew dont like it do you think we or other nufc fans give a shite, go worry about the up and coming season in the 3rd division .We can do what the fook we want, i may not agree with it but fair play for at least having the f***ing balls to try and change things.

You said yesterday you have no interest in anything I have to say

Maybe it is ultimately futile, but people want to feel like they're doing something.
Interestingly the social media campaign, replying to all Sports Direct tweets with stuff showing sports direct in a negative light has meant SD haven't tweeted in 6 days. So maybe that's having some effect. From punting their wares several times a day to nothing in a week. SD blocking people who had been replying with negative comments.

What should we do? Accept it? Worked wonders for you lot.

Anything you like except bleating away on here.

Tbf, the Ashley stuff usually comes up after a Sunderland supporter brings it up saying something along the lines of 'you just want Ashley to be a sugar daddy, he's put enough of his money in, etc etc' but you know this anyway.

Not sure what’s more true, Sunderland’s supporterbase contains about 25K cuckolds or Newcastle fans want top six every season.

Well what did Mandela do? He showed people how to beat the system, he showed them how to get free electricity ect. These acts may not be regime changing acts alone but each little action combined may help force a change.

No I am not comparing this to apartheid or Mr Mandela.

Reported for about the tenth time.

You bring nothing to the board and post non stop abuse on a Safc message board that you have long outstayed your welcome.

A truly pathetic individual who is not funny, original or clever in anyway whatsoever.

This came up because of a handful of idiots outside a shop.

As far as I can see most posters are just laughing at them, not suggesting Ashley does anything.

No, I mentioned what Mr Mandela did in helping to bring about a regime change. I then mentioned that every act can help to bring about regime changes. I didn't say they were in the same category as Apartheid or Mr Mandela's struggles. However regime change is regime change, that's where the comparisons lay.
I then further said
"No I am not comparing this to apartheid or Mr Mandela." to make it apparent that I understand that the different causes were not in the same bracket.
