Sports Neglect's business practices?

They'd be cheering on Pol Pot if if he signed some players and they made Europe. Inane at best.

Putting all my personal views to one side, Ashley has only done what any other owner or CEO would do in business, if he felt that he was being undermined and held to ransom. Ashley has made a commercial decision that he thinks is right for the club and it’s shareholders.
He made a conditional offer to an existing employee whom he wanted to retain, but the said employee has not reciprocated his desire to commit. Don’t fuck about, let the guy go and move on.

Otherwise, every future negotiation, be it with manager or player, will be addressed in the same manner with the owner losing all control.

As for Benitez, if he was trying to bargain with the alleged China offer, he has watched an Owner of a football club call his bluff.

If a player did the same and ultimately moved to China for the monetary gain, the supporters would be up in arms calling him a money grabbing bastard.

As for the Newcastle fans who are up in arms, their expectation is that the manager should be high profile and be sat at the table of the European elite. This is purely to continue the ridiculous perception that they are a club competing for honours on a European scale. Bizarre really, when they have only had a brief period, 20 plus years ago, when they actually did compete but ultimately failed.

I would love a mag with an IQ of over 7 to actually refute this post.
