... Jesus wept

Yes, which proves that despite the gap in quality it's possible to get points off the top sides if you set up properly. I don't know why you lot are taking this as an insult, or a criticism, it's just a fact
I'm not taking as criticism, I'm stating it as a fact, I watch most Barca games and inevitably they have most possession, shots on target, passing success than the teams they play against, it doesn't always gaurentee a win though. I'm not disagreeing, I'm stating a fact.

I worded that exactly as I meant to.

As for the answer to my question, you're on a Sunderland forum, for day 2, which means you obviously care.

I'm on various threads including this one talking to fellow supporters which I enjoy.

You keep coming on to 'correct people'?

You really believe you're fighting for a cause don't you
You may have meant to word it that way, but the way you've worded it is garbled and unhelpful.

I care about what?

You couldn't even beat Hull when they had 10 men.
... right, so rather than agree that gaps in quality don't always mean victory for the team with better individuals you'd like to reference a totally different match against totally different opposition, in a different competition.

We didn't beat beat Hull despite having much of the ball, much of the better chances and the lion's share of the game. This only serves to back up my point. So, thank you?

So you're arguing my point?

Why?

Im Not, why are you looking for an argument? Read back through the posts I made, I've stated facts.

To be honest I took what you said as you thought Newcastle could likely compete with Liverpool and get a point just like we did on Monday, I disagree with that assertion.

I was saying that we might be able to nick a point, but we'd probably lose. That is lost in translation because I'm a Newcastle fan and you're a Sunderland fan.

I'm 100% not looking for an argument, I've been saying that Newcastle might be able to nick a point if we set up the same as Sunderland did (but we probably wouldn't). "Arguing my point" doesn't mean "disagreeing with my point", it means "making my point".

That's fair enough I agree with that, and you're original point is quite right.

Yes it's fascinating ...... almost as if you believe there are people who care what you have to say about the Liverpool game or that Sunderland supporters didn't see the game or have access to these stats if they're interested.

Even more fascinating as it's a thread about Newcastle and their poor form.

But perhaps there are people who are interested in your opinions about that game ......... or perhaps you're totally wasting your days on here.

Who are you speaking on behalf of here?

You know, considering that when other users word statements that insinuate they are speaking on behalf of a collective you are the first to pull them up on it.

You've misunderstood what I've said.

I'm not saying if people are interested or not, I'm saying Fish seems to believe people are interested which may or not be the case ..... only he knows, not you or I.

I qualify that I've no idea, and am not speaking for others, by saying in the same post .....

"But perhaps there are people who are interested in your opinions about that game ......... or perhaps you're totally wasting your days on here."

For some reason you failed to highlight that part.

So, to be clear, I'm not insinuating anything and am speaking only for myself.

Probably best not to lead with a statement that comes across as speaking for a collective then later go on to throw a variable in there doubting that statement further on.

You wouldn't want to appear a hypocrite when you inevitably pull someone up on for doing the same at a later date.

But aye I've 'misunderstood'

I didn't ...... you misunderstood, it doesn't mean what you're claiming in any way.

I've explained so you need be confused no longer.

'Comes across as' or 'insinuates' mean you're making a judgement and putting your own slant on it.

Not one bit, especially to all the mags on the thread who couldn't give a fuck about it.

They obviously care more because they've come onto a Sunderland board whereas we're already here.

We're obsessed though aren't we?

When it gets to the point where 2 Mags are dissecting grammatical nuances, in a pitiful attempt to score points, you can be sure that's obsessive.

Fish believes he's spending days 'correcting inaccuracies' ffs ...... you couldn't make it up.

It's mind-boggling.

It's mind-boggling.

Sure is Meeps, I never post on Mag boards because I feel I'd just be laughed at whatever I posted ..... it's mind boggling for sure.

Especially when the thread topic appears irrelevant to them and they just want to plough on with their agendas.

I never even look at Mag boards unless someone posts a link to another gem ;)

The bizarre thing is that they actually think we give a fuck about their witless gibberings.
