 We don't count man
We had 90 points in 97/98 - even the 4th placed team Charlton had 88 points. I'm sure there will be more clubs who have failed to get automatic promotion with more than 85 points if I could be bothered to check.

On the last 8 games form they are not on for 85 points. Next two should be bankers for them unfortunately.

Yes they do, I've never seen any other Mags engage with you which is surprising ........ why do you think that is?

Well since you are more in tune with it, maybe you should tell me. Maybe we are all the same poster.
Wow, you're right they don't, that is really bothersome. Hmmmmmmmmm, I should go and work on being more "likeable" on forum's. Besides I have loads of mackem besties on here.

rafa laffy face.

...as he did when you were relegated.
that old chestnut.

Bit of a memory loss me. When was it when they were 12 points ahead or summat in a higher league and fucked it up ?

Blackburn seems ring a bell for some reasom

Someone with a decent memory will know

FTM
I also like the story when they finished 3rd in that league, a country mile ahead of their semi final rivals who finished sixth, and they didn't get to Wembley. Can't remember who finished sixth though. I'm sure someone will post a YouTube video to remind me ...

I don't recall ever quoting or talking directly to another mag poster on here, you'll have to show me evidence. I am heartbroken that other mag's treat me this way.

You do and they always ignore you.

Quite surprising considering your 'Uber Mag' rhetoric and relentless presence on a Sunderland board.

Perhaps they find you embarrassing ...... just a thought.

You're correct. I have misinterpreted the information i had. After doing proper research this is what I've got to prove myself wrong.

West ham had 86 in 11/12 and finished in 3rd as well. But 89 won the league that season.
In 01/02 Wolves got 86 in 3rd
In 00/01 Bolton got 87 in 3rd
In 99/00 Ipswich got 87 in 3rd.
In 98/99 Ipswich got 87 in 3rd.
In 97/98 Sunderland had 90 in 3rd and Charlton 88 in 4th.
In 92/93 Portsmouth finished 3rd on goal difference on 88 level with 2nd placed West Ham.

Can't find league tables for 90/91 or 91/92.

So in the last 15 seasons 87 points has been the minimum required for automatic promotion on 1 occasion. In some seasons of the 2nd division being 46 game seasons less than 85 points has been the total that's won the league.
In 12/13 for example, Hull went up automatically with 79 points and lost 15 games, 2 points clear of 3rd placed Watford.

Gillingham 86/87 was a laugh, eh

Uber Mag rhetoric? Again, show me evidence. I know you can't or won't so your argument is irrelevant.
Maybe they (whoever they are) do find me embarrassing, so be it.

I do like this new change in tactic on how to "rattle" me.

Cant see them not going up sadly.
They may have a dip in form, like most clubs do, but it certainly isn't a time to panic. They will get promoted, they have strength in depth, however, they are mostly championship players.

I can't believe a side who can beat Spurs 5-1 can get relegated, was their season planned for this? Was the sale of their players some sort of money laundering? Newcastle fans have been robbed by their own players, chairman and manager.

I posted a thread about a particular subject and you turned up ..... I've no wish to 'rattle you', just asking why you're ignored by your own kind.

If you never posted again you'd be quickly forgotten just as the others are who come on then vanish.

Trouble is when they get promoted they have the cash to buy good players. That Spurs game Spurs didnt turn up theyd just lost the league.
