Always watch it. Watched it again. Loved it.
The filmed inserted bits were a bit ‘Eurovision’ in that it sounds and feels like somebody from another planet has determined what entertains humans and has combined it with a travelogue programme and a child’s fairy tale from 1960s black and white dubbed tv.
But I like the ballet bits . Dunno how on earth they combine prefilmed segments iwith the ‘live‘ performance because it’s always spot on and exactly synchronised. Am I naive? They used to have the dancers actually entering the concert hall - which made more sense.

Always look forward to New Years Day for this - great bit of culture and history even if I am not a massive classical musical fan. Would love to attend dressed in my Sunday best and then attend one of the many parties held afterwards throughout the City

It's usually a NYD tradition of mine, to watch the concert each year, though I missed it today, due to being at our match, which was a 12:30pm kick off.
