Shame they won't get to watch them live any time soon. They can go indoor bowling from August though

I seem to remember when the test players were modelling the hundred shirts, for probably exactly the same reason kids buying them,it was universally criticised as false advertising as they would rarely play.

But of course Stokes wearing a Durham T20 when he probably not play a game is perfectly fine?

Where did I mention false advertising? Oir club need to make money because of ECB neglect and neglect from this hideous competition. The more shirt sales the better as we need the money. All 3 players are our players as well.

So it’s ok for players who are not going to play to advertise the shirts?

I have no issue with it myself, just making the point when that was done for the hundred loads criticised it and it’s the same thing

You will have to take it up with them. I'm happy for any Durham player to advertise Durham merchandise

The ECB said that they’d all play in the 100 though iirc.

Regardless I think it’s good PR by Durham.

Yeah it is mate, was only half joking, although I imagine that was the whole point it was done for 100 to, good PR.
