Dun Cow, Isis and Fitzies seem to do alreet despite charging what would’ve been considered London prices not too long ago.

The Dun Cow is a proper bar and i dont care what they charge i would rather be in there than in a big shiny cess pit with 20 tellys watching golf and not talking to people.

Walked past the old Bud Bigelows this morning , obvious building work going on, so asked the two gadgies standing in the doorway what was going on. It's definitely opening up again. Downstairs will be food and drink during the day and at night lively, loud music from the 90's onwards. Upstairs will be sports bar day and night, loads of tellys showing various sports and absolutely no music. Sunderland matches will be shown and they reckon there will be no licence problems in doing that. Can't remember what downstairs bar will be called but upstairs will be Craigs after the two local lads who own it. Oh and definitely no bucking bronco!

The lad who has got AFK is opening it. Spoke to him about it a couple of days ago. Thoroughly has my support, AFK is a class little bar and if this works out it'll be a splendid addition to the town centre.
