It’d be much nicer to get going with spectators allowed. Playing until end of September isn’t much different to playing in April really, you’re going to freeze either way!

I imagine that’s because the league informed clubs that they were delaying for a week and therefore clubs may have changed their plans as a result.

Yeah surely it will have to be 24th now otherwise they will look incompetent as stated they wanted a week to get views of clubs etc and clarity from ECB. Surely they won't have that all done by tomorrow and held a meeting etc.

Why such a late start? Other leagues are starting much earlier - local football has returned. I don’t see why they would delay it.
