Good article about the Southampton home top which is not red and white stripes. One comment that stood out for me through, was as one of many teams with red and white stripes, this shirt is very unique and if done correctly could become a more recognised brand for Southampton.

Southampton's fucked about with their strip quite a few times of the years, and yet they'll always be associated with red and white stripes.
