Thats the worst kit since the early eighties pinstripe............Cannot stand the kits that dont have the stripes on the back.........aka most mag offerings!,,,,any sensible business would do a focus group so as to pick the most attractive top re sales...............not our bunch of fekking no hopers! there is more to worry about than the kit the team wears but it a sign of things to come!I would guess that safc have just let the manufacturer get on with it and they have produced this shite!,,You would have though the club and the manufacturer would want to sell as many kits as possible i wonder if the club just thinks we will buy any old shite...its about time we sent a message and dont buy this ill-conceived shite.....Awful
Its the strip we are using this season. You could say every kit we have ever had is 'rooted in our history' as they have red and white stripes. We have no players, no manager, no money and no hope and the club is using a sunday league team to model a kit with a dramatic slogan about our future.
Why are they using a sunday league side in a marketing campaign with a heavy focus on the clubs future? They couldn't even get a player who will be part of our future at the club to wear it?
Only we could launch a pink strip like FFS![]()

how did you know i was referring to a"Big top"Tbf that second part invalidates the first![]()

what happened to the stripes on the back then?Whats the black about then?A reproduction of that top would be ok provided they have not tarted it up to look modern....the manufacturs have a few prototypes to which they fiddle about with for various club colours ............the red on the back and the black piping make the shirt hideous IMHO.
Tbf to the club, as a piece of pr damage limitation it's pretty clever. Evidence of competence at the club at lastThey had to get some random lads to model the kit as all of our players are lined up to leave or desperate to leave![]()
that was the first thing that sprung to mind when i saw it as well. That, and a thirty year old pack of ready salted crispsLooks like an 80s deck chair, horrific.
I think you're looking too much into it mate. It's two local teams playing at Ashbrooke. They've used it as a showpiece to release our new strip. It's different and has a community feel about it.
As you say, we don't know which players will be here this season so it wouldn't make sense seeing Defoe, Borini and Khazri trotting around in it. It would only help but further antagonise the fans.
I'm not pleased with our situation, but it seems the club can't do anything without being criticised at the moment. The way some have reacted to the strip is crazy.
