New shirt thread/Elvis link (no shirts yet)

Names and numbers have to be as per Premier League regulations mate.

I just think Elvis will be referred to on the strip in some way, I don't think it'll be sponsored by the estate as I assume we'll have one strip sponsor for all three kits, as we always do.
We could have a cup font for Europe and league competitions

Most other premier league clubs for that

Pink shirts never work well, especially the ones we've had.
Quite a lot of nice pink shirts in history imo. Hummel have made some lovely ones too. I think it’ll be toppa

when I use the colour picker to check the shade of pink out of the advert we used it seems to be a paleish pink which is a good sign.

Hummel smashed this (imo) before here

Is it not going to be black with the pink for the badge and piping?

That is nice, but the chevrons need to be sleeve length, 24/25 home kit was amazing

So are we getting money for this, or having to pay money to Elvis’s family?

What’s the main benefit - big coverage particularly in the American market?

I'd say the elvis estate have more, or as much, to gain from a commercial tie up, wouldn't surprise me if there is some agreed share of uplift based on pre-agrred metrics on both ends during the contract period. (Elvis music licencing in sport related uses - safc growth in US market).

It's not like he's releasing new music and for all of his cultural impact and name recognition even today, it is a brand that needs to find ways to stay relevant and keep his music in people's mind for use in ads, streams etc.

Getting elvis songs played on highlights packages and club content with Premier league eyeballs can only be good for them.

Like that clip of that marketing bloke said, there is a natural connection between the two is already there and there is a benefit to us in linking to a brand that lends credibility and gets us eyeballs in a market we are looking to grow in.

Am I the only one that hasn't a clue what the fuck we are doing trying to have a 'collaboration' with the estate of a singer who died 50 years ago? What the fuck has this got to do with SAFC?

And our away strips are going to be minging pink and black, based on the favourite colours of a long dead American singer with no connection to the club?

If it was Liverpool / Everton trying to market themselves as a club with a link to The Beatles, I'd probably not much like it but I would at least understand it.

This just feels as cringey, as forced, and as plastic as fuck to be honest. And it's not exactly fresh or contemporary.

I realise I seem to be in a small minority looking at this thread, but I cringe every time I see it publicised tbh. I can pretty much guarantee that whichever marketing 'expert' came up with this knows nothing about SAFC.
