New shirt thread/Elvis link (no shirts yet)

First time I’ve ever played around with mock-ups but came up with these:

I could kick myself I never bought the long sleeve version when it was released. I’ve been searching eBay and Vinted constantly and it never pops up in a medium. I agree, best home shirt since the turn of the millennium.
You'll want a large mate. The arms especially are super tight and a skinny bloke.

Sadly they all look horrific. Pink is a colour we should never use given its essentially the home colours mixed together. I got 5 of the 6 shirts last year but doubt I'll go for this one. Will wait and see what it looks like but after the last pink efforts I doubt I'll be handing over cash.

I just took it as an attempt at smart arse grammar pedantry which I do really dislike, and while I still don't entirely rule that out you've either styled it out really well or it was an audacious bit of wit on your part and I've misread it entirely and done you a huge disservice. I have no reason to doubt what you say, so I'm sorry about that. I've noticed I tend to react quite angrily when I feel insulted or if I perceive some injustice, so it's something I should work on.
Just have a gander around his previous posts mate...and all will become clear! His American Indian translation of his name is "He who googles".

Id buy this and never wear it probably

Isnt the gambling sponsor stuff banned for next season?

I don’t think I’d interacted with him before. I do still suspect a bit that he was trying to be a smart arse and it backfired, but he was right about me being too angry and it’s given me food for thought.

@Longy mentioned Bohs. The club brought in more than €2m in shirt sales. That's more than any other sports club/county in Ireland. I didn't like the Kneecap, Fontaines DC, Palestine or Refugees Welcome shirts because I felt they were too political. But I snapped up the Thin Lizzy and Oasis ones because I support Bohs and like those bands. I got the Bob Marley one too. I love this seasons retro Billy Young jersey.

The Netflix documentary did help raise the profile of SAFC and the rise up the leagues is a good old leagues is a good old fashion football story. Wise Men Say before the game has become one of the scenes of the season. The Elvis link will push our profile even further.
That would be absolutely wonderful and in no way political.

A stopped clock is right twice a day mate ;) If you haven't already read it the chimp paradox by Steve Peters is a canny read ( a tad simplistic but ok)and has been utilised by the flim flam motivational speakers selling their wares to NHS managers throughout the country.

Humans are funny apes i do find myself getting annoyed at stuff at work and society in general but i couldnt give a fig about what anybody says on a internet forum ,people can be aggressive rude and not a flicker !I do reply in kind though but it never moves the dial one bit on the annoyance meter!

I'm proper looking forward to seeing what we get with this one. Far more than I should be when I'm almost old enough to have grandchildren.

I think having the link with Elvis is superb, it has been one of the many highlights last season with a full SOL on its feet singing 'Wise men Say'.

It has been something to behold at times and is now very much our club anthem.

I'm not cool enough to wear pink but I will be buying the shirt regardless. Its going to be something very unique and worth keeping.

I’ve just looked up that book and it does sound interesting, cheers. I get what you mean about simplified, from a scientific perspective, but as a metaphor it does sorta ring true.

Well thanks for the therapy, marra. Cheque’s in the post and all that.
