He won’t get many Indian style wickets to bowl on in England.
Kuhnemann only played test match cricket in India and very little first class cricket in Aussie but he hit the ground running on April wickets in England.
Both North and Campbell have stated that they want a front line spinner for championship cricket so lets give the lad a chance.

I’m not knocking the lad and sincerely hope he brings us success, I was merely commenting on the type of wicket he’ll get here in England.

In the first team squad, in terms of spinners we have a choice of Trevaskis, Borthwick and Drissell. Anyone capable of taking 10 wickets in a test match anywhere must be an improvement? I like Trevaskis, and I’m sure he will improve, but as has been said, Campbell and North think we need a quality spinner.

Excellent. Can't really argue with how the club have gone about things. Good quality overseas goes down, good quality replacement sorted within a couple of weeks.

In fairness qetgot that Parkinson on loan as a replacement within an afternoon didn't we!

They hadn't even released news of Kuhnemanns injury
