New Kits 26/27

Yep. It’s horrible. Football shirts with collars on just don’t look right. I can’t understand the obsession with them on here.
They can look decent to be fair but there's definitely a large subsection of football fans who will seemingly rate any Adidas polo shirt with a football badge on.

That Chelsea one is absolutely tremendous to be honest.
They sponsor-free?

How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I grew up in the 70’s and most strips had a collar, maybe it’s us oldies yearning from the past?

We all remember Sunderland's 1997-1999 home strip, one of the last times I remember us not changing the home strip between seasons (although I may be wrong - we may have also done that more recently).

The 2 seasons we wore that, we finished 7th in the premier both times.

Born in the 70s and my first shirt was the one in your avatar. Don’t like collars on modern shirts though, and they aren’t ideal for players either.
I’ll let you tell that to Cantona

Loved that rugby collar!

If you read the supporters collective notes it says "A significant proportion of business discussions are with African companies"

Wouldn't be surprised to see an African sponsor on the shirt then.

Chesterfield kits released a few weeks ago now, 160th anniversary of the club being formed so that gets a mention on the kits. Away kit way better than last years two tone pink affair!!

Formation date of the club does depend on who you listen to as most including the club go with 1866 but one particually determined guy is saying it should be a date in the 1920s due to a crossover of one club maybe going under and a new one forming but most of us stick to 1866!
