It is. It's just that it was portrayed as a threat, when it really wasn't to us. A shit thing that should be reported on, but not as something that could really impact on our lives.

The current outbreak of Ebola has already killed thousands, likely more than this new virus ever will. Doesn't seem to get any coverage over here though.

I was part of operation Gritlock our response to Ebola stuck on ship off SL for months with no beer as the army had been naughty boys anyway Ebola as it stands now isnt a threat however if it mutates into being airborne then we would be in an absolute world of trouble. The longer outbreaks are allowed to carry on unchecked the greater the risk of that happening...

Going a bit mental here, all our staff and contractors have to report on the 31st (after chinese new year holiday) for medical checks before they report for work. The local doctors and hospitals wont treat you if you have a fever of 38 deg you have to go to a specialist hospital.

The Chinese have decided to quarentine 23 million people, must be some basis for it. Wouldn't be surprised if they were hiding the true numbers.
