He's done nothing anywhere that would attract their attention (and I still don't see why they wouldn't simply buy the club and appoint him themselves anyway). That makes a tiny bit more sense but still seems like straw clutching, especially when it's a poster who has previously said that the loan was being paid back and they were gone who seems to have sparked the discussion

They might not have picked him but advised they wanted an experienced CEO with connections and whilst he's not a blockbuster appointment by any means he will probably be well connected in the football league, either way it's just as bizzare for Donald to appoint anyone during the pandemic, there's nothing to do at the minute.
 

FFS I’m starting to believe again, meant to be decorating while I’m on furlough. The missus (no) is a nurse so she’s at work, she’s going to go mental when she gets in and sees I’ve done fuck all apart from refresh every 5 minutes

As they don't know much about football they probably want Donald to have the whole set up ready before taking over. Their first mistake is that Donald has no clue either, so he makes this type of appointments.

They're playing the long game to get us at their price, not Donald's. It's essentially a game of poker. Donald has got an off-suit 2-7 but is trying a bluff that they aren't going for.

Sorry, but I am lost with all of this. Why does Reiver suggest that FPP are resurrecting their interest? Has something occurred? Personally, I'd highly doubt the Americans are interested in buying the club, although that is based on pure gut feel.
