New CEO appointed..

Mark Campbell is a clown, I’ve got more chance of buying any club than him.

The Dutch consortium hasn’t been linked to us and while they vaguely hint at wanting to acquire a club they haven’t yet!

I agree that SD would prefer to recruit investors to plod on towards a hopeful promotion payday - still think that that may change after a season without matchday revenue as is being suggested.

Although I still think that no one actually knows anything as regards now this situation will pan out!
I'm not convinced the Americans are still interested anyway.

No mate they are still waiting in the wings, waiting to see if them new people join, then I think it's a game changer FPP have a repayment schedule in place if the new set up does not include certain personal, I don't know their names yet or the club they are with.
Christ you change like the wind
About 6 weeks ago I said about fpp still being involved and that this current pandemic could force sd hand to lower his asking price
You told me and others that fpp that ship had well sailed and that the 10m had already been paid back!! Now this
No wonder you get grief

WTF would anyone buy any football club at the moment? Even more so one that survives on gate receipts?

It is entirely possible there will be no gate receipts for another 12 months at least.
It makes no sense at all for anyone to purchase a club like ours at the minute.
I can’t imagine a CEO with as poor a track record as Rodwell would be high on the priority list of a bunch of wealthy Americans so it’s safe to assume he must be a Donald Man.
There’s more straw clutching going on on this thread than a scarecrow having a wank!

Despite the Corona Virus impact I still think it will be a good time to buy English Clubs with potential in the Championship / League One. Those clubs that are not burdened by high expenditure. Remember the pound was already depressed due to Brexit. Corona will reduce values further still. Sunderland, so we are told, were due to make a slight profit this year. Someone like FPP can cover 2-3 million losses (lack of gate receipts) easily, especially if those sums are reflected in the selling price.

On another note, nothing to do with SAFC based companies but SD has applied to strike off one of his companies yesterday - Total Fleet Services,

might be nothing in it but its just a bit info I come across

Agreed and memorable metaphor too!

He also said the problem was staff issues from day 1 , apparently they wernt metvhen biggest fan and they wanted local business people on the board that new what the club and city is about
Hold on a minute we were told at the time it was because of Methven they were trying to get involved.

Seems to me like people are literally making this up as they go along.

have to agree with this, very successful businessmen employing a failure like Rodwell just doesn't sit right. It is more akin to a Donald appointment than anything else. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon and will continue to make bad decision upon bad decision, based on who buys him a pint at the bar and comes round to dinner now and again

Depends who you believe I suppose , personally i find it easy to see why people would dislike metvhen
