New Birmingham Stadium - 60k+

Man City?....at least they had some history and were the record attance holders in L1 before us and Leeds.....Birmingham do not have that base support or history to draw from.
I dont see the comparison between Birmingham and Manchester City
If you’re going to talk about history you probably shouldn’t use a highest since the Premier League started record to back it up. Man City’s “record” was just the highest since the third tier started being called Division 2. Even ours is just “a football started in 1992” pretend one.

You are aloud to say that you know because it’s true . It’s not a dig , you don’t see many Muslims at blues or Villa games .
Who said anything about being "allowed to" say anything? It just tickled me, the idea that a whole religion of people would somehow be predisposed not to like football.

How do you know what religion the people at Birmingham or Villa matches are? I've never been, do they take their Qu'rans with them?

All the Muslims I know from uni (younger generation) absolutely love football. But it's stupid to generalise based on someone's religion anyway.
The Muslims around inner city Birmingham may like football as well but they don’t attend games. There’s a big Somalian community a mile away from their ground. I’d wager that not one attends football matches.

I agree about a franchise mate. I also agree about Spurs being the nailed on NFL stadium going forward (even ahead of Wembley); but the NFL would love another U.K. stadium.

The owners have just spent half a billion dollars on a percentage share of the Las Vegas Raiders. the fact NFL has been mentioned is no coincidence.

Yep, they are almost certain to try and get international games
They'll be plenty of events they can stage there to pay for it.

A brand new stadium could have a lot of revenue generating features built in, in a way that Villa Park doesn't.

I suspect Villa will be a bit nervous by at. If the stadium gets built, I can’t see Villa getting any further gigs

Tbf the plans are pretty impressive. I can’t see them getting 60,000 but if they price it correctly, I can see them pushing towards 40,000.
Assuming they are in the Premier League? Wonder what kind of away allocation they'd offer to Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United etc
