New Birmingham Stadium - 60k+

The frustrating thing is mate, unlike the majority of stadiums, we actually have the space to improve the stadium without the need for a major redevelopment.

Unless we do start to invest in the SOL though, I can see us struggling to attract future gigs. In the north of England, Liverpool, Everton and Man City, will be ahead of us.
 
I struggle to think of a team whose attendance didn't grow massively after they get a new stadium tbf. Good for concerts and obviously things like the NFL.

Birmingham has a big population too, so you could easily entice people if you offer cheap enough tickets.

It won’t be cheap mate but the club will need to decide on whether it wants to move with the times or run the risk of losing future revenue streams.

The sad reality is, the SOL has had very little investment since it opened - when really investment should have happened every few years to keep it modern.

We’ve had a discussion about this before. Apart from the west stand, the other stands aren’t supported by the outer walls, the steel structure bears the weight.

I'm all for stadiums which can host England games and F.A. Cup semi-finals outside Wembley.

Prizing them out of there will be the difficult bit though.
 
This will never happen for obvious reasons but a big stadium in Birmingham could have several uses outside of football. The FA were considering building the new national stadium in Birmingham after all.

You are aloud to say that you know because it’s true . It’s not a dig , you don’t see many Muslims at blues or Villa games .

I agree there is no comparison, but Villa were the record holders until recently not City or Leeds
