Never hear player names for pets anymore

My cousin called his pet rabbit Sheringham. Then they took it to the vets for a check up and were told that is was a female. So then he called it 'Mrs Sheringham'.

Used to hear pets named after our players at the time like Quinn, one mate had a dog called Clark after lee Clark and another lads had a cat named hutchy after don hutchison... any ideas about this current bunch ? Maybe A hamster called rodders that sleeps all day and hides and does nowt and comes alive at night maybe.

Our last dog was called Halom. Shame it was as soft as shite unlike its namesake Vic.

Players move on too quickly (and potentially to the Mags) to risk naming your pets after them.

You could call your dog Catts but it may get confused.
