Aye that’s it isn’t it? 26 players is a lot to be vying for 11 spots so if you’re not the 2nd best right back or 3rd and 4th best centre back then you’ll probably be not on the plane unfortunately.

Lutsha was left out of the last one but got a late call when Timber pulled out, didn’t he? He’s probably in if Timber is still out…

Just been reading each player called up for WC results in $11k per day for parent club plus preparation time so estimate if country is knocked out at group stage that total would be €250k, nice sum that for us so, more called up the better, as long as they don't get injured that is. Ftm

Yeah they have Timber, Dumfries and Frimpong on the right flank. And then some serious CB talent.

He's a really good player IMO but he is maybe not in their best 1 or 2 in any position, although he's probably 3rd/4th in loads

it will come down to whether they may choose to leave one of their centre backs behind and opt for a player who can do a decent job in 3 positions. There's always room in a world cup squad for 1 or 2 players like that imo, but with the squads being slightly bigger now it might be harder for Geertruida to make it in
