Netflix documentary about SAFC in the Summer.

Maybe Netflix has some footage of these supposed Mags who tried to get into the Norwich game?
No one else has, no safc fan took a pic or a video. There's no evidence at all apart from heresay

As far as I'm concerned we're about to be relegated with a bit of fight about us but ultimately not good enough. If we had a decent striker and a decent goalkeeper we'd be comfortably mid-table in my opinion.

The off-field things are obviously worse this year than they were then but back then we still had some highly-paid professionals that we knew were capable of playing to a high standard but had seemingly decided they couldn't be arsed anymore.

Short wanting away isn't too different from Murray wanting away, iirc.

There wasn't much that was positive in PP as far as I can remember.

As I said no was a kid so my rose tinted specs take on it was that we tried but weren't good enough.

For me this season we haven't tried until it's far too late but maybe that's a older more cynical me?

Also getting relegated from the Championship is much worse.

Either way they should never have agreed to it. We are too much of a basket case of a club to make it even more public than already is.

Why the earth would anyone agree to this after the clusterfuck of the last two seasons? This club and it's PR is a beauty.
The series starts with the Celtic game and I think the club genuinely thought that we would be promoted. Shows the arrogance of the club I guess. So the whole thing starts badly with a 0 v 5 thrashing and just gets worse. I've been interviewed for it 3 times now:

Burton Albion away - where i got into an argument with some fellow SAFC fans about Ellis short - they were defending him, I wasnt
At the SOL where I was filmed for 90 minutes being asked a plethora of questions about the club, its history et al, and
Prior to the Sheffield Wednesday game where i predicted a 2 v 0 win (no idea why)

Clearly I dont know what bits will be in of me and what wont.

The first 2 episodes have already been produced and sent to to Netflix and I'm told by the F73 lads that Netflix absolutely loved it. It goes out just after the WC. There are up to 10 of them working on this now crowded into the little room on the ground floor at Black Cat house as you go in the main entrance.

Any publicity, as they say, is good publicity.

First I've heard of this so I reckon you've just made it up.

Reckon we will become a bit of a meme club and get plenty of ironic fans start following us
I'm a member of the Sheffield United message board as well - joined for no particular reason other than too see what fellow football fans were saying. They are flabbergasted at just how bad we are and just cant understand our freefall. We are held up as a shining example of how not to run a football club and there genuinely seems to be sympathy there for us. There does seem to be quite a bit of chatter going on and a certain amount of voyeurism over our situation and the fans in particular are garnering a bit of a reputation in the face of adversity. Twitter et al in particular have some quite sympathetic views on our predicament.

Whats absolutely pitiful is the attitude of the NUFC fans. Not so much the piss taking which is accepted but the way in which at every opportunity they are tripping over themselves to slate absolutely everything about the club and make a clear point of doing so. Its almost an obsession to put SAFC down at every opportunity and ram it home to a degree that is unhealthy.
