NEPL Division 2 Sunday League

We have two sunday teams now. If any thing it should be easier as there are restrictions as to who can play in which tem now in the HLSL. We can can have rotation between the two teams.

Actually the ral question is what will happen to the mid week teams? will there be a need to join new mid week leagues to give games to thise who can not play at weekends. if so which ones are worth looking at?

There are 28 teams at present. If one Washington team, Sacriston, Brandon, Felling and Boldon go that leaves 23.

No clubs are regularly conceding games so hopefully the rest will stay. I'm pretty sure two or three sides are keen on joining. That would leave a Division 1 of 12 (too small surely?) and a Division 2 of 14.

Are clubs like CLS and South Northumberland not now big enough to but a side in as well as a NEPL Sunday team? There may be a few options if the league tries to invite clubs. Are any non NEPL local clubs on the up who could now put a side out?

If anything like the current set up of the Premier league it will be a thirds league. Most teams use it as a development league to bring on their good kids, with a few old heads thrown in.
