Does make you wonder why Franklin & Co didn’t fancy letting older players have a go then? Last couple years had the likes of Salisbury, Weighell & Campbell all leave plus others who I’ve missed I’m sure, who have all gone onto other counties. Like why let these lads go who aren’t old when they could’ve held a job when needed if all that was left was kids? Again I feel like the recruitment has been awful especially when seamers are such a vital part & especially when we sign players like Drissell who won’t do anything and has already been rejected by 2/3 clubs
