Be crossing everything for him tomorrow, love to see him get off to a winning start.
If there’s any accountability Speakman has to go by May and be replaced by a competent dof.

This last 2 weeks has exposed him as all talk with no substance behind his words. It’s as plain as day.
Too right.....charlatan got to go.

We're playing a recent non-league team without a win in 12 games. If we're frightened of them we may as well fold the fu*King club.
I had the same view as you about Cheltenham away on Tuesday and that one went well. Experiences in the last 4 seasons show nobody simply rolls over for you in this shite league. We are where we are because that's what our teams have deserved. I'm not putting your opinion down. Events of the last couple of weeks have sucked the life out of me. Hoping for a change of fortune tomorrow 🤞.

Cheltenham rolled over and let us tickle their belly at the SOL, they were the worst team I'd seen so far this season until our performance at Bolton. Not quite sure what's been going on this last month or so but we've gone from a team who could pass, move and score goals to a shambolic mess. I'm hopeful that just getting a new manager in and him growling at them tomorrow will be enough to see off a limited team. I'll be putting money on them as usual 💰💰

I don’t think we can continue with the complete lack of leadership - he has to take this game imo, win lose or draw.

Now maybe if Speakman had appointed a competent football person like Yorke, Cattermole, Leadbitter or some other respected ex pro to run the 23s they would have overseen a seamless transition and bought us some time instead of his rabbit in the headlights jobs for the boys mate which has arrogantly stolen the chance of 6 points for the club but that’s another story. Can’t risk it for a 3rd game.
any evidence yorke cattemole or leadbetter are any good at running u23 teams?
the man city u23 team is run by the lad that managed rochdale to relegation last year..but then mancity, being a well run club..doesnt give people coaching jobs because of their playing career.

I thought Dale played decent football when they played us to be honest, they could have just raised they’re game like many others though.

Bit of a silly decision if he is, had one day and one training session with them. Realistically how much can a manager influence in 24 hours?

I think it’s going to take 2-3 games to see a difference
