Neil in charge tomorrow

Funny thing there is Johnson stepped in against Wigan immediately last season. Right at the bottom of the league, club in absolute turmoil.. He thought it was a banker win for him to start on.

Lost 1-0.
But who really cares in the grand scheme. We had a shit manager depart, we've now seen we can't manager with the coaching staff and he had nothing to lose with an opportunity to pull off a win.

If he’s taken training today and he’s in charge tomorrow then I’m not arsed.

It would only take the club 2 minutes to at least sort a tweet out though.

If the fans didn’t have twitter, other journalists online to rely on for information, how the hell would you know what is going on? We have a match tomorrow. Complete amateurs. We have an older generation of fans who don’t go online. There has been next to no communication with the fans .The fans deserve an apology it has been a shambles.
Tell thee what marra: grown men (middle-aged, probably bald or balding, most likely fat) garn leet on a footy forum because there hasn't been an announcement of our Baldy Overlord... that is truly pathetic. Close your laptop and go for a walk FFS.

As long as he get's them playing football we have a good chance. Team reverts to hoofball bypassing midfield . Not good with one target man.Go for win.Gerrin to them,4uk them up.

Agreed - opposition teams won’t have known much about them due to the lack of games played. As the season goes on they’ll have been able to identify their weaknesses and exploit them. Dealing with the rough patches is hard enough for a couple of young players let alone a team full of them. This is where the older heads need to step up.
It's not even about working out weaknesses. Younger bodies aren't as physically resilient as more mature ones. It's the same basic biomechanics which dictates that there aren't many (if any) teenage boxing champions / athletics champions etc. Their bodies haven't matured and can't compete over an extended period in an environment where even a 1% drop from peak performance makes you an also ran.

Neil should step back from this one and watch from the stands. LJ put on his Cuban heels and directed operations from the technical area, overseeing a first game defeat straight after taking over. I wouldn't want to see a repeat of that from Neil - he'll be on a hiding to nothing from the watching fans and on here from day one. Mind you, I don't really want to see the PE teachers running things either🥴. What a mess the regime have made of all this 😡.
Why does it matter if he doesn’t win his first game in charge?

Surely we are less likely to lose with him him charge so surely you should want him to be in charge.

I actually think that if you had picked a spectator out of the crowd at random and asked them to manage us last weekend, you’d have had a 50% chance of getting a better results than those two chuckle heads got, and I’m including the away supporters in that too.

We're playing a recent non-league team without a win in 12 games. If we're frightened of them we may as well fold the fu*King club.

If the last two games hadn’t been managed spectacularly badly by the rank amateurs Speakman has gifted jobs above their station to then this would be less of an issue.

Poor recruitment and planning (not having an U23coach) by the swot has cost us six points. Isn’t the whole purpose of him to make sure that “secession planning” throughout the club/academy is spot on?

How he is still in a job is baffling.

If there’s any accountability Speakman has to go by May and be replaced by a competent dof.

This last 2 weeks has exposed him as all talk with no substance behind his words. It’s as plain as day.
