There were no results from League 1 or 2 in the Sunday Sun.

League 3 though had 2 results.

Kimbelsworth beat Coundon, and Whiteleas beat Coxhoe. They were the only ones in the paper like.

Coxhoe were bowled out for 21!!

Shame that like 2nds are on catch up now still should turn both then over if any cricket actually gets played

Aye both games for Belmont called off at the weekend, the council couldn't even get onto our ground so there was no chance of the 2's playing.

Forecast is awful for this weekend too!

There is quite a few of the lads that have been at the club since the mid 90's and even some from before then, we tend to be very good at keeping people and they take "Belmont" approach to cricket - not too serious and then enjoy a few pints afterwards......

How did everyone get on at the weekend?
Our 1sts didn't play as our outfield is a proper mess, needs a good few days of sun and wind.
2nds drew with Stanhope 122 runs each including a last ball of the innings ru out when Stanhope needed 1 to win.

Great set of lads know quite a few of them still Jamie Brooks and Chris Smith were at Newton Hall before Belmont young VOR was there as a kid then went to Belmont and had a good season lovely set of lads play the game in the correct spirit always follow their results

Only 2 matches reported in the Sunday Sun, both abandoned without any play. Hopefully the weather is fine this weekend.
 
As we thought all games were off in the NEDCL this weekend - let's hope week 5 of matches gets a full turnout!

Jaimie hasn't played Saturday cricket for a couple of seasons now and Chris is still going strong, by correct spirit do you mean "alcohol"? ;-)
