You would think we were bottom 3 way some have thrown the toys2 points off arnt we??
Diarra's error for me is the big one as we would have won the game after that.I thought Villa were red hot today. 09 is getting a lot of undeserved stick but Reinildo gave the ball away for one of their goals then Diarra missed a sitter. Those were the two crucial errors.
It was more the point you've got people saying Reinildo has been shite for a while which is just utter bullshit though.Does that make up for him being disastrous today? He was horrific, literally done nothing right.
Was great last week bar standing arguing while they took a free kick that nearly cost a pen.It was more the point you've got people saying Reinildo has been shite for a while which is just utter bullshit though.
Need to look at what’s happening in front of him on his side of the pitch.A one where his performance levels drop
Phil Smith must have assholes for eyes. Xhaka was way off it. Sadiki was good, covered for the old man.Best reflection of today i've seen. I had similar thoughts on Xhaka but Phil Smith named him MOTM so maybe because he was only a bit below par and we notice it more?
Exactly. You’ve got to look at who’s playing in front of him on the left, Le Fee’s a good player but that’s not his best position, he lost the ball twice leading up to Villa’s goals then later from the middle played a great ball for Isidor to score. Talbi’s our best player on the left and should have started. Its crazy. I'm not sure we have had a better left back in my lifetime and I'm middle aged.
What game was he watching?!Best reflection of today i've seen. I had similar thoughts on Xhaka but Phil Smith named him MOTM so maybe because he was only a bit below par and we notice it more?
We all wanted Ballard to start but just coming back from injury limited RLB line up my guess but O9 has been playing great so was not obvious to drop him today. Gutted today but still on cloud 9 this year…Sunderland made me so excited only to blow it. I think having a Friday match will help us forget Villa a good squad it shows we will compete next year.Absolutely correct - onien and reinildo shouldn’t be starting on Friday at all
Just angry bairns reacting to losing a game of football. Its crazy. I'm not sure we have had a better left back in my lifetime and I'm middle aged.
There’s posters in the diarra thread on here saying thatJust angry bairns reacting to losing a game of football.
Apparently there are some on twitter saying Diarra should never play for us again- be the same ones who said that about Enzo after the penalty miss.
HUME IS NOT A LEFT BACK!
Why would you drop Omar unless he is deffo injured
"off it for a while"He’s looked off it for a while. Think Humes deserving of a spot at LB for me, unless Alderete is out in which case Mukiele CB and Hume RB
I know it's just daft bairns venting, but it's so frustrating reading that sort of shit. All these keyboard experts telling us he should have slid it to Martinez's left/right or passed to Talbi etc tecThere’s posters in the diarra thread on here saying that![]()
When did onien play great? The time he should have given away a penalty against Leeds? Or the time he passes the ball to the mags? Or when he missed the other mags game due to a red card? This has been on the cards for a while and it’s no surprise a PL quality striker has picked apart the sad and low quality performance of Luke f***ing onien. End of the day, he’s cost you 4 goals in a game. There’s no defending that at all and he should never play PL football again. We all wanted Ballard to start but just coming back from injury limited RLB line up my guess but O9 has been playing great so was not obvious to drop him today. The games before his injury he was poor too - West Ham for example - where he was hooked at half time. Hasn’t had a great game for us in a good while. Not sure whether it’s fitness, or lack of, related but Hume deserves a place in the 11 undoubtedly"off it for a while"
Was fine against Spurs, but struggles yesterday against a very good McGinn
Prior to that he missed 6 games with injury.
Where/when is this "while" that you are referring to?

What if he'd done just that and the keeper had still made a save? What then? Are players not allowed to miss chances? Are keepers not allowed to make saves?
There's a few on here need to play less FIFA and actually experience the real world
I don’t think he did a great deal wrong personally. Isidor was running at an angle which gives him more options, plus Martinez slipped and Isidor capitalised on that. Diarra was central running straight at him, Martinez had narrowed down his angles and but for an extra inch diarra would have finished his chance brilliantly. People look at his chance and just say ‘ah he’s got to score that man, world class strikers miss one on ones like that, erling haaland has done it a few times this season where he’s placed it round the keeper who’s narrowed the angles and it’s gone wide."off it for a while"

But we lost to a good side.
Spot onFew were below par today including Roefs, Reinildo, Xhaka and Diarra. O’Nien tried his best as always, wasn’t below par, just what he’s capable of.
