So because I said it reminded me of the Millwall game last season and felt guttering it deserved pelters and people saying I mustn't have been in league one :lol:

Not my fault they must struggle to read like.
 
Think how I feel! Gutted doesn’t come close! At 3-3 I was genuinely elated. But the fact it ended the way it did is a humbling reminder of just how far we have to go to be anything vaguely resembling an Aston Villa sized club. We can only dream of being like them. For them to be at 1–1, then 3-1, let the two goal slip but then win the game 4-3 shows us all what this league does and what it is. It shows you how good you have to be to beat the best. And our best was nowhere near good enough. We need to amp up the performances to get a win. Starting against a Nottingham Forest team that just beat Burnley 4-1.

No where near good enough???,
we were one missed chance from beating them. 🤷🏻
We would have gone 6th with only a few games left 🤷🏻
We are a couple of top players from being able to compete consistently at this level.

Granted if we want to compete in Europe as well as in the Prem we need much greater depth…. Frankly we are not ready for that imo
 
Remember when Max Power belted it into Row Z to end our season in front of 10k fans at the SoL during the pandemic, condemning us to a 4th consecutive season in the third tier?

Another player who got his arse licked off the fans. Top fella down roker park etc, he gets it etc.

Bloke was utter shite and all about himself. A total stain that he captained the club.
