Yeah but surely you shouldn't have to pay an isa interest penalty if you do move to another financial institution ?

There will be a transition period with the VM brand stores & products remains as is for a while yet. There will be a gradual integration over time before it disappears altogether. Plenty of time to move loans/isas/credit cards etc

Tbf, all banks suffer outages to their online systems. Virgin seems to go down on the 1st of every month
