when moved over to callerton 91 ish i signed for kirkley cc we got to semi crowds big .. then years later at belsay cc got to semi twice area semi i think .

was the best cup ive played in for crowds ect - durham senior league cups better teams but this was a big big cup gutted to have not got to lords .
now some teams play ringers i seen this my last season at belsay we had henry twizzel howie me ropa all handy lads against a 3rd div team from south notts they had 3 west indians in 2 fast boys they won by 5 runs . in bar later they never new the name of there skipper and one said he played for notts 2nds 3 games the season before .. we complained but nowt happend they went onto win i think ..
if your in it lap it up as you progress the standard gets better but its on the day that counts good luck ..

What's the criteria?? Is it literally only villages?? So Brandon could enter but not Sunderland for example??
 
Brandon couldn't enter as you have to be in a village with less than 5,000 people in it and play in a league where players aren't paid.

Really looking forward to this even though we have a tough draw
 
Ah right. Fair enough that. I'm available for loan like lads. Partially talented stumper who'll stand up to any kent*! Can also bat anywhere up the order, best shot in my repertoire is the leave outside of off stump 8-)

*not guaranteed to stop everything though.
