Last years winners Ealing had 10 home grown lads playing for them plus Peploe. Whilst of course they have a huge catchment area it points to the way to go.They missed AJ Tye tbf. As you say, Davey Martin plays 2XI, as has Al Mustard in the league this year.
As for changes, Cessford is at Worcs now so will be missing. But when Waite left last year, they replaced him with Gary Scott no no guarantee they will turn to the youngsters. Chris Martin is certainly good enough though.
CLS CC have some excellent youngsters on the books, very high quality, right from U11's to U18's, plus a bar that makes a fortune, due to the fact that its on the drinking round in the Town.
I have no doubt that CLS CC will win the national T20 competition some day soon.
Sad too see David wilson play his last game for the club today. He has been a superb servant to the club. His son is a really good player and I noticed him on the bench today sitting next to his Dad. We'll see more of him in the years to come along with the Martin brothers and the Harrison lads.
