I think a season on loan in the Championship, stays injury free and runs the league will do him good. He seems stuck in this loop of getting injured, coming back, getting to grips with it where his form suffers, then gets injured again
I personally don't see him as part of the long term at the club and he needs to prove his worth elsewhere for a while.
