If he plays it'll be at centre back. Better to play there than fullback after being out
 
Having the full backs and keeper back and we’ll be okay. Massive player for us. Can’t wait for the break after the mags game to get people back and have a bit of a reset.

What we need is more of these threads, picking apart what's wrong with the team at the minute whilst over inflating the ability of players who are currently out injured

So we're missing our goalkeeper, our two full backs and our most creative midfielder; our captain and our best forward are just back from injury and not yet firing on all cylinders; and three out of four wingers are injured and potentially out for most of the rest of the season...

...and still 'fans' grumble about our attacking capabilities, the dip in our form and calling for the manager's head?

Beggars belief really.

There aren't many better than Roefs either in terms of distribution. It's a huge asset to have. He can start off attacking moves with his feet and Ellborg is nowhere near his level.

I believe Roefs distribution and comfort on the ball,short or long ,has been an enormous loss .
Elborg looks promising but at the moment pretty uncomfortable with ball at his feet .
Mind you Elborg could probably play at CB with his heading ability , given the way he dealt with Luke's mad backpass 😀

2 or 3 months ago when we were playing well and getting results it was hard to call. Roefs, Le Fee, Xhaka, Mukiele, Alderete and Sadiki all in with solid shouts.

Now I could only say Mukiele. Lose him for a few weeks and we've gone to shit.

One of the best players I've ever seen for us, I have no idea how we managed to find him and land him.
