Mowbray

We have conceded 22 goals in the 10 matches since we returned back from the summer. That’s over 2 goals conceded a game meaning we need to average 3 goals to win any game with the current system and playing staff.

Yes, we need a striker but we have a much bigger proproblem
We were pathetic defensively last season. At home we conceded 5 to Stoke, 4 to Burnley, 4 to Hull. There's probably others aswell.

I absolutely agree mate. It’s an ongoing problem that I thought would have been rectified in the summer.

Get on the training field and start organising the defence and how we work without the ball.

Same goals conceded every week, wide open when we lose the ball and within 2 passes they're one on one.

Piece of piss to play against. Get some f***ing coaching done during the week and get some organisation into this team please.

Owa busy playing the clown with his Jaffa cakes.
Bout time these journalists asked a probing question rather than plying him with ket

It's true though, we are garbage tactically. The title is obviously light hearted after the social media love in before every press conference.

Meanwhile we have conceded exactly the same goals 2 weeks running. But the media would rather ask him about jaffa cakes.
They posted a photo with a packet of f***ing Revels waiting for him like it's his "thing" the other week.
It's a shame his thing isn't being able to organise a defence

He plays the media like a fiddle mate.

One week he is having a meeting with Speakman, the next he is telling nick Barnes he has no idea who's coming in.

Then there's the pet lip at Luton away which he knew would blow up with fan support.

How about we try buying centre midfield players rather than a magic 10, that only works if the 10 is a cheat code like Amad.

Manager can only play the hand he has been dealt and the squad is lop-sided

You’d use any stick in reach to beat Mowbray with mind

I agree with alot of that but the manager doesn't get a free pass. 2 weeks running we have conceded identical goals by the same mistakes, one of them completely and totally down to the system and how many men he's moving forward.

Hes got zero track record of sorting and defensively organising a team.

It's true. What about the speakman quote, why ignore that?

Tuesday night he's saying he's had a 90 minute talk with speakman over transfers. 3 days later hes telling nick Barnes he has no say and no clue who's coming in.

He contradicts himself. He said he doesn't get Involved in stewarts contract talks yet said on Friday that we have made him a good offer.

But he can't organise a team fully if he only has 2 and a half real centre midfield players, then a load of forward thinking, don't want to defend players.

Roberts is brilliant for us, but his willingness to defend is as strong as my dogs and she sleeps 23 hours a day

Give it a few more weeks and more people will see how poor a manager he is. Doing a very good job at proving some of us right so far this season, unfortunately for us
TBF your opinion counts for nothing. You have constantly been proved to be wrong. You must be rubbing your hands in glee with the fact we haven't started well.

So why does the manager insist on having hume move into midfield? Offering no protection behind Roberts then?

Leading to the goal like today when ballard has a man over on his right who ends up scoring?

Why doesn't Mowbray keep hume wide to help Roberts and offer some protection if Roberts losesthe ball and doesn't want to defend like you claim?

Like I said, some of these problems are completely down to the manager.

I do get what your saying and he definitely has his faults.

However, for the majority of the time he’s been here he’s been dealt a poor hand from those above him and that’s a much bigger worry for me as we can’t just get shot of them when they aren’t performing.

He done a great job last season but f***ing hell, we play like a team down the park where everybody wants to go forward
