Mowbray

I dont rate Mowbray at all, and haven't been convinced hes a good choice even in our better runs of form, but we didn't have many options at the time.

Although I put Carricks name forward the day after Neil left just saying

i completely agree but didn’t Middlesbrough have to give him assurances that he had total control? No way would he have agreed to our setup.

Not a chance he will lose his job like, I don’t know what people are thinking saying things like that.

He’s doing what they have asked of him. We are safe and getting these kids some experience.

The silver lining is we won’t have to put up with articles liking Neil, Patterson etc with moves this week.

Mowbray blooded the kids, he has kept Sunderland around mid table (could have been better with a CF in the window) however, time to move on at the end of the season If Sunderland have promotion ambitions.
If we have ambitions of staying up even.

If Stewart leaves we will have 0 first team strikers, so even if we do sign 1 or 2 we have to hope they hit the ground running immediately.

Not to mention some big teams could come down from the PL, and it looks like the teams who will come up from League 1 will have decent backing too.

If Blackpool, Wigan and Huddersfield go down for example, then theres also a lack of obvious whipping boys to prop the league up.

Think maybe he sees the end of the season out and that’s it for me.

He didn’t sign the players, so they can work with someone else I reckon. Start someone new with a full pre season ahead of them.

Those not wanting him because he wasn’t very good are beginning to look like the knowledgeable ones on here.
Another shit show with zero tactical nous, if Clarke,Roberts or Diallo don’t bail him then he hasn’t a clue.

Bin him in the sunmer

Embarrassing result today but don’t understand how fans can be having a pop at him.

Done an unbelievable job considering the hand hes been dealt from above him.

Minimal championship experience and no strikers would catch up to any side in the championship. Frustratingly just got to write this season off and hope people have learned you can’t refuse to spend money on championship quality players when you are actually playing in that league.

I got told that we shouldnt go for him because "hes a mag".

Lets forget the fact he was always a total professional as a player and serial winner who played under one of the most successful managers of all time and has been coaching for years at a lower level

Thats the extent of his tactics, "give it one of the tricky lads, and see what they can do".

We lost 5-1 mate

Need to question him big time. Last 5-6 games we've been figured out and bullied.

He hasn't got an answer. I'd of thought starting a more physical team starting the middle would of helped but he's the yes man.
