Mowbray confirmed

Manager cost us last night imo and I am disappointed he is the best we could get.
His interview beforehand certainly worried me -basically didn’t like playing the Boro as a manager ( which I understand to a degree ) but you could see he wasn’t really up for it -especially when contrasted to Wilder who was passionate about getting the three points.
Im totally behind him as he’s our new manager and hopefully this is a one off because it’s his boyhood club -hoping for immediate response Saturday

A pro player or manager should put all aspects of his personal thoughts to one side and be loyal to the people employing him, shades of Chopra here .

That’s what worried me about last night
I thought we were getting a tough Teeside lad who would put past loyalty aside .
After seeing his interview with Bernie Slaven I thought “ I could make a fortune as he won’t inspire our lads as he dosnt want to upset the locals “ .Felt like he could still live his life if we lost…
Then née way I would bet against the lads Stewart injury gave an excuse .
I was for totally for him but was genuinely shocked when I saw that interview and thought we’ve lost this before a ball is kicked .
He better turn up sat …
Our best managers have been tough nuts who dint give a shite about the opposition -reidy Allardyce keane -
Time to roar Tony

Difficult for him as he's new in and he's got an couple of injuries straight away. He's learning about them and unfortunately we have to go through this process again.

The one thing I always felt about Neil (rightly or wrong) was he cottoned onto who was and who wasn't reliable pretty damn quickly last season and there seemed to be players he either didn't rate or trust: last season that was Doyle, Neil (changed his mind during preseason), Matete, Dejaku and there were some he had faith in. Hopefully Mowbray learns quickly as well as last night was shite allaround and he made it worse with his subs.

That’s bullshit that mind.

Manager in position for 10 months defeats head coach in position for 10 minutes by 1 goal to nil, after the latter loses his main striker a matter of minutes before the game.
Definitely to blame.

Tony Mowbray finished 8th last year in the champ with the youngest team (or just about). I’m still yet to hear what Alex Neil has done that’s so much better than Mowbray over recent times? Both decent managers. The reaction by some I know was insane. I don’t get it, it’s a good appointment by any measure.

Mowbray wouldn't have been my choice, but he's doing very well, bearing in mind he has had some bad luck with injuries. The club is definitely going in the right direction imho.

Like it or not he is our new manager.

I wasn't to keen, but now he has be given the job I'll give him my full support.

Let him prove what he can do and judge him on that.

Haway the lads

Not guilty of hammering him
