Mowbray confirmed

Which is ….

Twat leaves club because he doesn’t get his own way
Club replace him within 2 days after it’s official - with someone who has experience keeping teams steady in this league
Club linked with some exciting new talent as we feel our way around the Championship following 4 years in the wilderness

But the club shop isn’t always open, so Speakman is a w*nker and KLD is using us as a play thing so he can buy PSG next year

Aaaah right, get it now
Hope so, Messi loan incoming, one last chance for a fairwell year with us in the Premier League 2023/24

l hope he does well, wouldn't have been my choice but if he can keep us playing at the level we have right now he has my support.
my worry is his points per game record is around 1.5 and we need better.
Sacked by Celtic after a 4-0 defeat, while they were 10 points behind Rangers
Why would we give a shite about what happened when he was Celtic manager and 10 points behind Rangers? You a Celtic fan?
Nobody was thrilled when Alex Neil got the Job
I didnt know anything about Alex Neil, I also know very little about Tony Mowbray apart from what I have read since he was linked. As with any manager 100% support from me, unless you surrender after 2 games like Dr Death

The safe option. Get us secure in this league is the main priority now. Mowbray is the main who will do this and fits our current model. Hwtl

No, I'm a Sunderland fan, I commented on his record and I am less than happy about your "shite reply!
My advice to anyone posting on a forum would be to imagine you are in a pub and only say what you would say if the people you were talking to were standing next to you.

I will now take myself to Weamouth bridge and leap head first!

Good. Sunderland AFC is no place for people who aren’t willing to get behind and back the manager and show a modicum of belief after all the times they bang on to others on a message board about trying to be more positive and supportive of the team.
Nobody was thrilled when Alex Neil got the Job

Nobody is thrilled whoever takes over.

2 year deal
Good….he is exactly what we need at this stage of our development and in the circumstances thrown at us at the start of the season. Most fans will look at his record and see the sense of his appointment (and the risk of spending weeks pursuing a sexier option). Those fans who cannot see past his place of birth and his affiliation with his hometown and club need to recognise we have appointed a man with professional pride and high personal standards who will set this aside whilst goes about his job…..and give him your support.
Let’s get on with the season.

I was lukewarm at best when he was first linked but really feel he is a good appointment. Despite his demeanour he is well suited to our squad and will do well.

The Club clearly saw trouble on the horizon with Neil & got its finger out a few weeks ago -quite right in my opinion. Mowbrays appointment may have been announced publically late on Tuesday but those that count - the players - have trained with him and had a day or perhaps longer to get used to him. He seems to have been around the Club for a few weeks - I wonder if he took the opportunity then to chat to the players socially?

A few wins for Mowbray indeed just one tonight and Neil will already be on his way to being just be a footnote in SAFC's history. A couple of signings before the widow closes would mean business back to normal after just one very surprising & rather hetic Bank Holiday Weekend.

Good luck to him he's been handed of a squad that hasn't lost any momentum & it's still very early days in the season.
