I think if we were more established at this level instead of four weeks in, we would have gone for a more ambitious appointment.

However, given that we have had 4 years in the abyss of league one, we need to have a safe pair of hands in the short term. I think it is a sensible appointment all things considered.
 
I was not happy when I first heard this....but I was talking to a Boro fan today (work related) and he has known Mowbray for a long time...he said that he is one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet, likes his teams to play attacking football and is great at bringing on younger players. So let’s give the bloke a chance. Our Club is bigger than any individual. Neil is history. The way he behaved last week was despicable. Fuck him. Good Luck Tony.
