MOTM v Southampton

Some of Neil’s passing was sublime, Clark was on his game throughout but Ekwah was magnificent today.

Clarke for me like. He was outstanding. Neil and Ekwah class in the middle, but Ba deserves a huge mention, under serious pressure today I feel and he put in a very good performance. Involved in some of the goals too.

Ekwah was superb in his role today and scored two goals.

Can’t ask for much more.

Whole team were excellent.

Ekwah, not just the goals but the way he absolutely bossed the midfield. Closely behind was the much maligned Ba. I reckon that the footballing guru that is Russell Martin told them 'if you keep Clarke quiet you keep Sunderland quiet. Ignore Ba cos he's useless' as they gave so much space to Ba, and boy did he exploit it.

To be fair to Ba he found Similar pockets of space vs Cov but didn’t exploit them as well. I was really surprised how much grief he got because got everything but the final ball right most of the game.

Even without the goals it would have been Ekwah.

Shout out to Cirkin, quick glance at the forum and I've not seen his name many times. He was superb again.
