I tend not to vote for Xhaka as he is so good I think it’s unfair. It’s like my under 12s team where I share out the player of the day.

Thanks for organising this and a fascinating end if season review. I expected Xhaka to have more MOTM.

Enzo is the player I love most, filling the Patrick Roberts hole, at times his football has been matchless. Even so Xhaka has been consistently brilliant and runs the team so effectively I confess to almost ignoring him if I vote just because he feels too obvious and I am thinking of the player who has stood out a little more than their steady level. It's great to have a side with so many favourites - there is a case to be made for almost all of the defenders.
