We will never know the ins and outs of last night. The club can make a statement outing the player as they often do but we very rarely hear the counter argument. We will never know what’s been agreed or offered to the player of his agents behind the scenes. Maybe there has been a breakdown between the club and the player. Yes he is contracted buts it’s not always that simple.

Would be a canny alternative to Roberts at the right price. Need someone thats more of a wide forward as an option for the rw
