When I was there it was the best and hardest school in Sunderland. No surprise that a lot of the best posters on here went there :cool:

Shame its in special measures now.
 
I was there in the 3rd year in 1986 for a while, form teacher was Mrs Savage, I was in Boldon House. I remember tech. Drawing on a Friday afternoon. 😁
 
Anyone know what’s happening to it. Seen it mention in a local political leaflet the other week. The leaflet seemed to suggest it was closing or getting taken over?

Mrs Cuddeford (head of house) - bossy, mental.
Mr Felce (PE, careers, head of sixth) - strangely Bowie-esque. Mental.
Mr Johnson (swimming) - paedophile, mental.

There’s a them there, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Unlike Mr Johnson, of course.
