Mogga's last stand

He was an appointment to make us solid in the championship. Won't go down but won't threaten the play offs. He won't be here past the two year contract he signed. I think the club took him on with that in mind. I would have preferred to take on a younger manager with a higher potential ceiling.
We don't look solid. Every game has big question marks about how we play and even when we win it is laboured.

Good mangers find solutions with the hand they are dealt, however Mowbray doesn't appear to have a plan B. At the moment not even a plan A.

Blackburn is a good example, whilst there Brereton Diaz bailed him out for ages, but as soon as Brereton Diaz fell out of form he had absolutely nothing. No alternative plan or creativity to come up with a solution. He just throws his "best" players on and hopes for the best, like

Are people only just realizing he's shite ? Sticking with idiots like him put us in div. 3 for 4 seasons . Is anybody stupid enough to suggest keeping Grayson would have been a good idea ? Do the players look at Mowbray and think he'll be good for their careers ? He's a liability, please, get rid . Let's face it ,he should never have been anywhere near the job .

Don't underestimate the loss of Stewart in that press. He was always the first to press.

We looked a lot better when Pritchard and Evans came on, and I dare say the result would have been different if they'd started.

Mowbray dropped a bollock today by playing Ba and Neil together and judging by his comments after the match, he realises he did.
You could see yesterday that they were creating overloads out wide or dropping a man in between our midfield and defence the whole game.

It was also obvious that no one knew who to pick up. A properly organised team would have prepared.

Also in an attacking sense we aren’t breaking teams down by targeting any weaknesses we just have the same plan every time.

Ye, Stuart makes the press more effective but it’s obvious it’s deeper than that.

I think that’s a bit harsh mind. We are in the position most people expected pre season, in fact many on here worried bout bottom 6. Over half a season to go admittedly but think when Stewart comes back we will improve by default.
Stewart coming back isn't default

Every time we lose …

It’s not even just when we lose though is it.

We have been dire for 6/7 games, one second half at Wigan, and 20 minutes at Luton aside.

Huddesfield was probably the worst winning performance I’ve seen.
He’s a bang average manger but the board won’t spend anything and have no ambition really. Out home form and performances have been utterly shocking.

Eh? We were the 5th highest championship spenders in the summer and two of those above us had just come from down from the prem

There's zero chance they'll sack him, that's crazy talk even for some on here. The ambition from the owners is to stay up, he will do that it may get hairy now and then but he will keep us up and that's all he's been asked to do by the owners.

Statistics!
Just remind us who we bought and for how much.

Neil would have made subs after 30 minutes when he could see it wasn't working. That's the difference.
I don't think there are many managers that do take that proactive approach like Neil does. Unfortunately very rare and I can't think of any other candidates that see football in that way.

The problems are several and TM isn't to blame for all of them, but wow what a shambles yesterday. 3 of our best players in Ballard, Stewart and Alese are injured which really weakens our defence and attack, with them we've seen we can compete with the top clubs in the division. Gooch is a big loss, Cirkin's head all over the place, we offer nothing on the flanks now. TM has too many options in midfield, and too much prospective talent, some with big expectations, not sure he's worked out how to use them yet. Dropping the players who link the play against Cardiff was a total disaster. Because of injuries he's had to change the team tactics and hasn't had a go in the transfer market, making use of what he's got but unfortunately, it's totally changed our winning system. He's got until Christmas imo, but we'll not accept another shitshow like yesterday.

So if the board is anything to go by, we will be getting rid of the manager after a whole 3 months in charge.

How long do we give the next one? 2 months? An hour?

The harping on about Neil is boarding on insanity, yes he got us out of league 1, but they way people go on you would think he was god's gift to management

And we take the piss out of the likes of Watford for changing managers
