Millwall game - Dec 3rd

How to convince the bairn and Mrs we’re not doing a Disney park for one day, because I’ll be in the sports bar all day
..good luck with that one mate
Called it a good while back that hetton fella account works for the club.

Probably a shared account as well going by the hours and hours of shite posted

Similar to kildare not charlie.
No chance he works for the club. He just gets 'breaking news' sent to his phone then posts it on here as tho he itk.
England are in group B.
Holy shit!

A date has been confirmed for Sunderland AFC’s game against Millwall at the Stadium of Light.

Tony Mowbray’s side will host the Lions at 12.30pm on Saturday 3 December in the Sky Bet Championship.

Initially scheduled for Saturday 10 September, the fixture was postponed as a mark of respect for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

I managed to get to work after the Norwich City game which started at 12:30. I made it to swiping myself in with my colleague card with about 3 minutes to spare. I will have to do it again.
Could be worse, could be midweek.

It would be better surely if it was midweek.

Superb, least you can make the game

I really didn’t imagine I would see as many as I will.

Coventry City
Norwich City
Rotherham United
Blackpool
Burnley (Saturday- put in a for)
Millwall
Blackburn Rovers (Boxing Day - put in for)
Stoke City (Saturday - put in for)
Sheffield United
Hull City (Friday)
Birmingham City
Watford

I found out about a Watford only today. I have a holiday from April 20th to 29th and when I put it in my Google Calendar I discovered the last day is Watford.
Unless you have a job

You think I only work Saturday 3-10? I have an unlucky life but it’s not that unlucky.

I work weekday but my shift pattern allows for midweek games. I finish Monday at 6, I’m off Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday I finish at 7 and Friday at 3. Which is why Hull is doable.

Opposite for me.

Never know a season I'm missing so many matches, and not of my wanting.

Sky fcuking about with date changes and stupid ko times, and these continuing train strikes.

Starting to lose interest if I'm being honest, and I never, never in a million years thought I'd ever say that.

We lost our dog a few weeks ago, and have since got a beautiful, cute, loving, playful German Shepherd puppy, which now is my world, and who I want to spend all my time with.

My condolences to you on the loss of your treasured family member. I hope your new German Shepherd puppy gives you as many good times as your last canine companion.

Weird how life works out when it comes to football. For the last 4 years I was in the same position as you. I was ready to give up. Didn’t see a point missing so many games. Albeit because Sky DIDN’T mess with games. League One is hardly ever on. Now having been promoted, the random nature of the fixtures (in League One you were guaranteed to start at 3pm on a Saturday because of the lack of airtime) has been good for me.

Champion,I used to work continental shifts,4 days on 4 days off, used to be a right pain working out which games I could and couldn’t make, work part time these days,Wednesday Thursday and Fridays,3 days a week, make all the games now

Know the feeling, the lads I work with are for the most on continental shifts,it’s bad enough working out what games you can attend without sky moving the dates and times

It's my Mam's birthday in December and she's been going on about Lincoln Christmas market for the last few years. Train tickets were released last week and I thought I had a free weekend, so I've bought her train tickets for her birthday to take her on the 3rd December.

It's only on that weekend and we can't go Friday as the bairn is in school and she can't do Sunday as she does church stuff.

KTF mate...the train strikes will (hopefully) be resolved soon..but Sky unfortunately are the equivalent of a shit that won't flush..they'll always fcuk up some travel plans and have done for years..No point in retiring your flag just because of their "live on Sky" crap...;)
