Thats a shame like, he had a winning formula with junipers. Sunderland is brutal for some bars and restsurants, desperate for more footfsll in the centre.

He was doing food at The Peacock for a short stint until the company decided to get their own catering in for The Peacock and The Fire Station’s food (and now going forward - The Dun Cow).

The catering team who do The Peacock and The Fire Station’s food will now be doing The Dun Cow’s food menu. The proprietor of the Chop House has left.

The upstairs isn’t open (for the time being). There’s a small, simple food menu on in the pub, but it has zilch to do with the Chophouse. One of the chefs who has been working in the Engine Rooms is knocking it up.
