Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

Well for me, if he’s good enough for that bench he’s good enough to play, otherwise why put him among the subs at all.
We said this. He was apparently standing in the sideline for 5 minutes on Wednesday and doesn’t get on when we have no midfield option on the bench today.
Mind, I’d have been happy if O’Nien had gone into midfield. Going 3 at the back and 2 in the middle was the wrong decision.

Either this lad is shite, or unfit. Browne going off was his time to come on. Regis obviously doesn't think he's ready

Realistically he's unlikely to be ready is he. He's come over from a probably quite average foreign league in Serbia and he's just gone 19. He should likely be nowhere near the side with Samed, Neil, Browne, Jobe, Rigg being the main options and maybe one other whilst he adapts and fits in the background and then puts pressure on for a place.

Le Bris isn't daft. If he was up to speed he'd likely have had some minutes by now.

Midfield and wide areas we haven't got right at all this season and it's affecting us now.

If he’s not upto speed he should not be sitting on the bench
Nope. Poor lad is in no mans land of not getting a minute for anyone

Baffles me

Which in theory will take him ages to get up to match fitness if he's ever called upon.
Exactly
Today showed why we should have been giving him some minutes - even if only for the u21s. He was suddenly our only midfield option and would have had to come on cold for his debut in an incredibly difficult situation. We opted to completely change the formation rather than to trust him instead, and that change was a disaster.
Spot on & I've been saying this for weeks before anyone says I'm just moaning because it's a loss. The Derby & Oxford games were won after an hour, absolutely ridiculous he didn't get on in either game, ideal time to give him minutes. The u21 game against Boston the other night as well, a game against fully grown men, would have been a great time to see what he's made of.

Then put him in the u21's & put Ba or Aouchiche on the bench. We needed a midfielder to come on today & we had to change the system because the manager didn't trust anybody. I'd have even rather he brought Jones on who's been outstanding for the u21's than change the system & invite the pressure.
