Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

Even bigger mag gonk.

I now think I know who it is, and if I’m right I will apologise for calling him a bellend the other night as he actually seems a decent lad, and is a huge Sunderland fan, and not many I can think of put the hours and miles in that he does.

Don’t get the dislike he has for our fanbase mind you, may well be a wind up on here, but if it’s who I think it is I’ve spoken to him before and he’s a good lad.

He’s Aleksic,
He’s a red and white authentic
He signed and we never expected it
And nows our time

He’s our midfielder,
With Rege le Bris as our leader
Where on our way to the Premier
and nows our time (Nows our time)

and I want you to say
Do you know what im saying, (What im saying)
But we need more
Cause we’ll be here when we win the league
With the best midfield that we’ve ever seen
Lots of goals and assists from you
His name is Aleksic
He’s red and white through and through
Might need to hand hymn sheets out for that one

If he's already getting in the Serbian national team he can't be that bad a player
For sure, Serbia is much stronger than Wales, Northern Ireland or even Scotland, but Aleksic being from Radnicki 1923 and on the nation team is a huge surprise.
Correct me if I'm wrong but a few years ago you had to be a national team player with some 3-5 national team caps just to get the working permit in England, don't know if that's still a thing. When it was a thing Serbian FA invited players for less important games to help them earn enough caps and be able to play in England.

Top work that.

This is still my all time favourite from @Dodgy

Since brexit they have created a system that allows clubs to sign players who wouldn’t normally qualify for a work permit.

Under the new rules, the GBE points-based system will be retained, but English clubs will now be able to register a certain number of ‘Elite Significant Contribution’ players who do not meet the current GBE requirements.

What does ‘Elite Significant Contribution’ mean?

The new regulations state that a player will be deemed an ‘ESC Player’ if “the Player is an elite player and will make a significant contribution to the sport”. In this respect, the FA expects the player to have satisfied one or more of the following conditions:

  • played in at least one Youth Competitive International Match for a national team ranked in the top 50 places in the FIFA World Rankings; or
  • played in at least 5 Youth Competitive International Matches for a national team ranked outside the top 50 places in the FIFA World Rankings; or
  • played in at least one Continental Youth Competition Match; or
  • played in at least five Domestic Youth Competition Matches; or
  • played in at least one Senior Competitive International Match for a national team ranked in the top 50 places in the FIFA World Rankings; or
  • played in at least five Senior Competitive International Matches for a national team ranked outside the top 50 places in the FIFA World Rankings; or
  • played in at least one match in a Continental Competition; or
  • played in at least five Domestic Senior Competition Matches.

Very talented lad, his name got mentioned to me about 2 weeks ago so decided to watch him

He is best as a box to box midfielder, always looks to pass forward and gets himself in n around the box in final 3rd. He actually reminded me of Rigg, plays with good energy good technically but needs to improve defensively. Needs to learn how to use his body when tackling, and he was slow on the defensive transition at times.

He has played as an AM n CDM as well, i could see him being used in that no10 role that Rigg has been playing at times. He scored 2 very good goals in the europa league earlier this season, a last minute shot from the edge of the box and then a header after a cracking late run into the box

That is a write up from scout OTR
😂😂😂😂

This is likely Ruggs replacement. If he keeps playing like he is clubs will be in for him next summer, maybe even this winter. When you see Archibald Gray going for 40 million aged 18 you know we can't turn down that kind of cash money. Bear in mind Rugg is as good as Gray was at 17, and on top of that he is already very confident and a leader who's already shouting at and bossing senior players around on the pitch.

Sounds like we need cover in midfield if we’re selling Rugg 😉
