Didn't someone say there was another player with Simic at the AoL last week? Could explain the Serbian mention. Does anyone know if they are represented by the same agent?
 
Looks a bit like Szoboszlai in the way that he plays, called up to the Serbian national team at 18 so must have something about him
 
Thought this was going to be about Milija Aleksic and wondered what we wanted with an aged (since checked and he's deed) goalie.

Sounds like a similar deal to Jobe's last season. We love teenage 'multipurpose' midfielders, they probably say they are 'box to box' midfielders.
 
Serbians were hoping he would go to the likes of Eredevisie/Belgian League and be getting good minutes:

Massive statement from the club to bring one of the best talents in Serbia to the second flight - fee definitely shows there's serious intent.

Dan Neil and the Ghanaian Kante with 3 wonderkids in Aleksic, Rigg and Jobe rotating either side of them what a time to be alive. Probably takes a few weeks to learn the Le Bris system but there's some serious competition in our midfield now.
