Sad news. I can remember watching him and his style was one of a kind
Looked like he bowled off the back foot sort of style
And he could bat when needed

Very sad to read this this morning. As a bairn growing up in the early 70’s, watching & learning to play cricket, I always wanted to be able to bowl like him. I used to stand two buckets on top of each other in the back street and tried to copy his style by bowling at them
